To me, the Wii controls were a disaster. I can see the childish appeal, but motion for the sake of motion is indeed a gimmick, and becomes/became tired quickly. I owned a Wii for a very short amount of time (long enough to complete the new Super Mario). I suppose I can't judge every Wii game, since I've owned a total of 3, but I can't see the control system being better in another game than it was in a top-tier, highly acclaimed title such as Mario Galaxy.
This new Wii shows promise, but Omega is being an ignorant fanboy (big surprise), because even with 1080 the hardware doesn't have the growth potential the PS3 had (and still has), and even if it manages to produce high-end graphics (which according to previews: it will), it'll still lack in general gameplay as Nintendo likes to innovate for the sake of innovation, rather than create a dynamic system that is both innovative and enjoyable.
Of course, any realistic claims will be dismissed by moronic fanboys, so this is my last post in this thread.
