Finally picked up my copy of Battlefield today after months of speculation. It's definitely a real shooter's game, it makes the action of Call Of Duty (which I still love) look like a grade-school play compared to the cinematic environment and gameplay. After playing just a few rounds of this game online I got the hand of it and am already bullying kids on COD like I haven't before, this is quite fun. I only have a few complaints, the major one being how you can't back out of the lobby after your match is done (REALLY annoying), and the other just as important complaint, there's NO multiplayer online like there is for COD. I was really pumped to get my friend into this game with some Team Deathmatch together but was completely shocked when I found out they left this out of the game, although my guess is it's because of the massive amount of space they needed to run this game as is. Can't wait to turn on the campaign and rock that, looking VERY forward to seeing how it all plays out!

What do you mean? You can invite friends to your game. Just in the menu press start and it brings up your squad and you can invite your friends from there.

I tried that but it looked like you can only invite your friends that are online on other systems, which is good, but I mean I couldn't find any way of getting my 2nd controller to register to play along, you know?

Yeah I agree, I think this game kicks COD's ass in every which way except for this one part, which is kind of depressing. I can get over the not backing out of lobbies but this is just plain dumb. They probably would've sold a lot more units if it was included, but I can understand them not wanting to follow Call Of Duty's footsteps.
