I know GTA 5 and a lot of other stuff is coming out, but I just want to give a shoutout to a lot of the well made games of this generation.

1. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
2. Super Mario Galaxy (and I include the sequel as well)
3. Red Dead Redemption
4. Mass Effect 2
5. Portal 2
6. Grand Theft Auto IV
7. Halo 4
8. Bioshock
9. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
10. Elder Scrolls Skyrim

1. Mass Effect series (I don't want to single one of them out, I love them all tbh)

call of duty is as generic as you can get. yeah, it's more refined than other military shooters, but military shooters have been played out to death. theyve been churned out every year and each years COD gets more cliche than the next

I agree with Kill You on the mass effect series. Except Mass Effect 3, that sucked.

Any real gamer knows that CoD is NOT among the top games of this generation. Or any generation. I hate slinging that term around, "real gamer" but in this case it's true. I like to think casual gamers love CoD while hardcore gamers like other shooters like Halo and Crysis.
