none taken. but i tried the trial. and based on how often i played it, i think if one could find a good balance and use some discipline, then the game is perfectly fine.

You could say I was a veteran. Tips? You'd have to ask me specific things. Hit me up if you need anything... I've maxed 3 toons.

well i guess the big thing i wonder is how do you find people to play with? nobody i already know plays the game. but every time i get on i never see the same people running around as the last time. it just seems so difficult to find people you would like to play with.

That's easy man, join a guild. Just go to trade chat and type that you're looking for a good leveling guild. That way, you can level with people around your experience level, learn, get better, and then leave that guild for a better one for end game content. :y:

Generally, a good place to make "friends" is in random dungeons. Usually, you can connect with someone there and add a contact to your friends list (which then tells you when they come on and log off), so you always have someone to quest/play with.

yea that's really all i need. just somebody to play with. even if we're not doing things together, just having somebody on the other end to discuss my spoils of war would be nice. it gets lonely doin it solo.

@ Nollie - thanks i'll keep in touch :y:

Yeah, that can happen in such a massive game. That's why a guild is good, because even if you're not running with others, you can always find people discussing things on the guild chat (same as the trade chat, only /g instead of /2). That's a good place to chat with fellow guildies about anything, really, and it breaks the loneliness up.

By the way, what server are you on?

@Maybe - Random dungeons queue you cross-server. So if he wanted to stay in contact with a player he met in a random dungeon he'd have to convince them to give him their RealID.

But like Maybe said, join a guild. Go to your server's forums (which you can navigate to from battle.net) and find your server. There's usually a bunch of posts for guild that are recruiting all levels of playstyles.

50 percent of the time, yeah. But he said he wanted someone to talk to while playing so it's not as desolate, not necessarily someone to play with. That's why I recommended the random dungeons, that way, he's alerted about his friends actions with the realID.

Ah, well when you get to a slightly higher level, transfer your toon (or just make a new one) on the server I'm on and I'll help you out (with money, gear, guild, etc).
