I haven't played neither Mass Effect 1 nor 2, so I doubt I'd understand the story.

& I'm not really into RPG's anyways..

I heard of a Dolphin emulator, I tried running Animal Crossing on it, worked rather well.

It's overrated for a good reason. Look at the time it was released...it was an innovative game back then. And playing it is STILL a blast. Just talking about it makes me wanna get another N64 just to play it again.

Yes I have. I played it when I was a kid and never liked it, then I bought it for the 3DS cause I thought maybe I just didnt understand it when I was a kid. Had to force myself to play through the whole thing and thought I might get some enjoyment out of it. Had about 0 fun playing it. I understand how innovative it was when it first came out, but there are about 100 games I would rather play.

Then you're one of the few, but if you didn't enjoy it then that's you...do you like other Zelda games? Because many games since OoT have taken cue from it.

You see, I can't for the life of me enjoy A Link to the Past.

After completing each temple in Ocarina of Time, I just get a feeling of satisfaction. We're all humans though and we all have different opinions and preferences. You don't like the game, well I do.

Anyways, who here has played Majora's Mask, and fully beaten it? The time system is really starting to tick me off...

Yeah the time system can get annoying. You only have three days to complete each area and then you have to start all back over again if you fuck up. I think it made the game feel more...urgent, I guess is how I would put it. It really was a race against time.

It's in my top 5 games ever. Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye are slightly ahead of it but all depends on my mood.

What kind of question is this (the obvious answer is Majora's Mask, which is in many ways better than OoT.)

Skward Sword is my favorite game in the series though.

I will buy this on the virtual console. Never played it, but I will since I've seen the enormous praise.

I find Metroid to be better than Zelda so far. Only played TP and SS from Zelda and Super Metroid and the prime trilogy from Metroid. The level design is incredible, non-linear and great to explore. The sense of isolation. The eerie atmosphere and music.

I don't find Skyward Sword to be all that. It had some great some great moments. The last dungeon was great, but overall the dungeons were short and easy. The music was forgettable despite some few gems. Very linear. Mostly you go from point A to B. Many pointless puzzles. Fi is REALLY annoying and is completely devoid from any sense of humor (or any emotion). Some good bosses (Last one was awesome - sword-fighting that depends on skill and rhythm). Swordplay is good. Although some of the motion-plus control feels gimmicky (fighting small enemies gets old fast ). Over-world is MUCH more lively than TP's snooze-fest. Lacks variety of dungeon. I didn't care for the story although I never cared for stories in video games anyway. Game was so easy overall. Better side-quests than TP. But TP's dungeons were better and more engaging. But Skyward Sword is a good game overall.

Super Mario Galaxy 2, on the other hand, is phenomenal. The levels are some of the most amazing, creative and addictive designed I've ever played (along with Portal 2 - Game of the year for 2011). Amazing variety of levels so it never feels repetitive. It's one of the only games where when I play I go "Wow, that was awesome!". Utilizes the motion control quite well too. Well balance difficulty (gets real hard near the end). Incredible atmosphere. Way better than Skyward Sword. Lovely art-style. The game feels big and epic.

I wish Yoshi was involved more - he is a fun character to play with and adds to the game.

First Zelda game I got exposed to, and it basically made me buy a SNES and NES to play the older games.
