It should be around like 20 bucks by now for the normal edition, I suggest trying it, it's very good. Best fighting game since the 90's in my honest opinion.

It's just fight after fight. That's why I love SM so much, it's so unique in that platforming thing they had going on there. Like a regular 3rd person adventure game but...It was MK.

Well, it is fight after fight but there also is a story to it and everything in between fights. They did the story kind of like MK vs. DC Universe in how it was formatted and played out but the story of MK9 is actually really good especially compared to past MKs and other fighting games. I think it's really cool to see MK1, 2, and 3 in good graphics (that's essentially what the storyline is with a few differences) and them actually incorporate real drama and tension.

Not surprised, my friend's favorite and best fighter is Kung Lao as well. He's really good if you can master him. I got Ermac and Sindel on lock though. Liu Kang would be my fast character if I just wanna beat the shit outta someone real quick.
