Went back 4 pages and didn't see a thread for it, so I'll make one...if there is already a thread feel free to lock this one.

So, who else is excited for it? Have you guys preordered it? Are you expecting it to top the undeniably amazing Mass Effect 2, or will it fall short or expectations? Discuss all things Mass Effect.

I read in Game Informer that there's gonna be three different ways to play...the traditional way, the action way, then an incredibly laid back version or something like that lmao. Of course I'll pick the traditional way though.

Yeah, this game is great...haven't done too much but I can already tell this is a masterpiece. I suggest any Mass Effect fan to buy this game ASAP.

does it read from your saves from the last 2? if so, it's unfortunate i can't take advantage of that feature since my xbox red ringed on me and i had to get a new one and lost all saves.

Yes.

However, if you did not modify Shepard in ME2, you lose the custom Shepard in ME3. It still keeps your decisions though.

Played this game all day after work yesterday...god such a great game. I didn't wanna put it down, not even to go out and get something to eat but I was starving around then lol. Good thing this game came out this week, it makes "disappointment week" (no Em/Obie on mixtape and the "big annnouncement") much more tolerable. Without this game I'd go crazy with how bullshit this week has been.
