The Halo Series

IMO:
Halo 4 > Halo 1 > Halo Reach > Halo 3 > Halo ODST > Halo 2 > Halo Wars

Halo 4 was the best looking and most innovative.
Halo 1 is a timeless classic.
Halo Reach is a great sub-story action game.
Halo 3 was THE reason to get a 360 during 2007.
ODST just felt like Halo 3.1, mehhh.
Halo 2's campaign was a nightmare, boring and monochromatic.
Halo Wars, I just didn't like at all.

Completely agree with Halo 4. It's the best looking, has all the features that make Halo great, and it's storyline is undoubtedly the best. 343 clearly had intentions to make Halo 4 the best so far and they succeeded. Has the best pacing.

Don't see what's wrong with Halo 2 though, Halo 2 is classic. GOAT shooter. I even love the campaign and how it introduced The Arbiter.

Halo 2 had a great side plot with Arbiter, but I mean the gameplay itself. All of the rooms looked so similar to each other that it was easy to get lost. I liked the Tartarus fight, but overall, everything was just gray and looked the same (and there wasn't even a map). It was so easy to get lost and it was just a headache. It didn't have the great outdoor environments that 4, 1 and 3 had. It was mostly just gray.
