And he kicks ass to get his memory back and to free his mom from the hands of evil rap-freestylers group called The Source Boyz lead by a dude called Rulenzino. So he gets his mom free and when she hugs him, he gets his memory back, forgets kung fu but remembers that he hates his mom and he becomes an drug addict. Will he recover him self? Do I smell part 3?

By that logic, the first movie ever made is the greatest, because it was the first. How much more original can you get?

Uhm no, that's ridiculous. 8 Mile is a movie about an underdog rising up and winning a competition, whilst proving to himself blablabla. It's been done over and fucking over again. It's a good movie, with a great performance by Em. But there's nothing about the movie that's HOLY SHIT AWESOME.

From a personal perspective, and speaking as a massive Eminem fan, I love 8 Mile and think it's a great film and I'd even go as far to say it's one of my personal favourites of all time.

BUT.........objectively it isn't even in the top 500 films of all time lol.

It wasn't even the greatest film of 2002.

There is a reason why 8 Mile is NEVER mentioned amongst the greatest, and any film buff will tell you the same; it doesn't deserve to be lol.

This list is bullshit too btw, before anyone says anything... but you will never see 8 Mile in these types of lists, ever. And there is a reason for that!
