Movies that didn't match up to their hype

Sadly i have to say Superman Returns

it should have done much better in the box office at least

as far as the movie it didn't disappoint its following did.

the previews for dream girls (i think that's what it's called) look really interesting, maybe big daddy knowles broke down and got the cute daughter some acting lessons.

umm.. Shrek 2. what a crap i hate this movie.


Matrix Reloaded/Revolution - i liked them, they weren't bad but the first movie was something new, something really interesting. had some mystery, a bit of philosophy, was deep. next parts were more like a action movies with loads of special effects, especially the last one. too bad

I really liked that movie but maybe that's because I haven't seen the first 2

DUDE! the 3rd one was probably better than the first two the action was incredible defanitely stepped up and obviously they had a bigger budget and they actually show you how they made the face makers and shit how could you not like it, it had everything, wowing effects, good story, good acting/actors
Phillip Seymour Hoffman FTW!, more action packed what's not to like?

I guess it didn't do all that well box office wise so it flopped but it was a damn good movie each to his own though i just dont see how you could not have liked that movie it's even rare for a sequel to be better than the predecessors but it was clearly better.

the first one was edgy decent story but some parts dragged a bit and it felt boring.

the second had more action but the story was lacking.

third one just fucking owned.
