My Bloody Valentine 3-D

Summary: Harmony is a small town that depends on its' mines to support the townsfolk. Tom, who at the time is a teen, works at the mines and due to not checking the equipment causes six men to get trapped in a cave-in. One week later rescuers are able to tunnel into the collapsed mine, Tunnel No. 5, to find that the only survivor, Henry Warden, killed everyone else to say his own air supply. When he arrived at the hospital, he entered a culma for one year, waking up on Valentine's Day. Facing a pyschotic breakdown, Warden kills 22 people cutting out the hearts of his victims as he goes and places them in heart-shaped candy boxes, ending his massacre at the Valentine's party, which of course happens to be at Tunnel No. 5. Henry is shot by police while trying to kill Tom and runs off deep in the mines, never to be seen or heard from again. Thus, here enters our plot. 10 years later, Valentine's Day, Tom returns to his hometown to sell off the mine since his father died and he was main policy holder. Upon his arrival, a man suited in a mining wardrobe, just like Warden, begins killing all those who had an orriginal connection to the mine 10 years before. Tom's ex-lover, Sarah Palmer, who's now married to the town's Sheriff talk's him out of selling the mine, but the bodies keep piling up. Axel Palmer, the sheriff, is trying to pin the murders on Tom, who is defended by Sarah, who's claiming he's innoscent. Thus, everything thickens. Is Henry Warden back for sweet revenge or is Tom not the man Sarah once knew and loved?


Review: For anybody who's seen the original, the killer's aren't the same and the plots totally differ. If this movie sounds interesting and you'd like to take your girl to go see it, so she'll get scared shitless and look to you to protect her, make sure you go to the right theater! Only certain theaters are actually showing the movie the way it's supposed to be seen, 3-D. Me and my fiancee' made that mistake, we've seen the movie twice since its' release last week. The last time, it was 3-D. It's well scripted movie in my opinion, however, I wish the killer would have been the person I suspected! There are one or two scenes where you can tell the movie is fake, other than that, everything is directed right, and it's not like those CGI movies where you can tell which scenes are edited and animated, whatever. The drama's juicy, and even though, I knew what happened since I had already seen it, it was pretty terrifying in 3-D and even made me jump at a couple of scenes. Like the tagline says, "Nothing says date movie like a 3-D ride to HELL!!!"
