Because I like saving time and energy, I'm gonna put my playoff scenario now, b4 they start. Before the season started, I had 2 picks: The Vikings would not make the super bowl, and since everyone does super bowl picks, mine was the Chargers.
I said the Vikings would not make the super bowl bc of all the wishy washiness of the head coach Brad Childress, Brett Favre's wishy washiness nuff said, and just the divide that was going on with that team in the preseason. Things that start badly or in a mess, usually end badly or in a mess. Which is why I was not surprised when Brett Favre and Brad Childress turned on each other and had a public spat starting 2 weeks ago. If you put two snakes together, at least one of them is bound to get bit.
With the Chargers, I said for the most part of the last decade, they've been 1 of the power teams in the AFC, with the New Englands, Pittsburghs, and Indys of the Conference, all of whom have Super Bowl rings, except San Diego. So I figured now is their time, especially with them getting key players back healthy, and some of whom are playing for new contracts. It just seems like their time.
With the NFC playoffs, I'll watch for entertainment, but I really don't care bc whoever wins it won't win the super bowl. And I definetly think the Vikings, or Brett Favres as Chris Berman calls them lol, won't be in the super bowl. Whoever wins the AFC, which I'll go with being Chargers, they might as well give them the Lombardi trophy along with the Lamar Hunt trophy after the game, bc the NFC just won't do it this year IMO.
Anyways, to sum all this up what happens in the NFC playoffs doesn't matter to me because they won't win the Super Bowl. And after the AFC championship, I'll crown the winner as the Super Bowl winner, and not waste time watching with interest or getting invested in what else happens in the playoffs. But the games are played on the field, not on paper, or in someone's mind, so we'll see what happens.
