i lay the blame on gerrard and lampard.. theyre both good, yet missed penalty shots.. i wanted england to win..

sven - never convinced anyone that he new what he was doing. weird subsitutions, weird squad to start with (walcott), all a bit weird

penalties - we didn't go threw in the end cos we can't take penalties in world cup finals. i mean if u placed boards in the top corners of a goal and asked gerrard and lampard to hit the boards from the penalty spot....i bet they would hit them 9/10 times......yet yesterday they chose to pass the ball to ricardo.....so that cost us really

rooney - he's was ment to win us the world cup but in a way he has lost us the world cup. i no some people said it was never a sending off bla bla.....but if you stamp on someone and then push someone....your always risking getting sent off

ronaldo - was seen winding up rooney before the match had even started.....then tried to get his own team-mate booked resulting in rooney pushing him, then winked at scolari after rooney had got sent off. wot a wanka. i hope he dusnt play for man utd again.

Sven is the only person to blame.

Firstly with his squad selection, with only 4 strikers, 2 of which were not 100% fit, 1 which he had never seen play, and the final he didnt believe in.

Then was the style of play. He is too defensive, and we all know england can attack well, so why not push more players up, rather than have loads behind the ball.

The load striker role rooney was in, is bound to get him wound up/frustrated. Not seeing much of the ball, and when he does get it, double marked, no support and no options. It was svens fault he got angry and lashed out. But i agree it was a red card, but could have been avoided.

How many people can say, in that situation, they would not do the same as rooney? (stamp + push). I know I would.

No blame on the penalty takers, they practiced twice a day for a month. With that amount of pressure for each player, any normal person would not function, and would struggle to walk/talk, let alone take a penalty. Put yourself in their shoes. Plus we, the fans add more pressure expecting them too win and be the best, which puts a larger strain on the players.

i only watch soccer during the olympics and world cup so I don't know how hate is distributed. But why isn't Robinson catching any heat? he did do well during the game but looked horrid in the PKs

They are all against us, some shit decisions.

And the thing about robinson, you aint supposed too save penalties, but its a bonus if you do, thats why no blame on him.
