panthers vs bears official thread

Postby topdawgizalaw » Jan 8th, '06, 22:56

the first time the two played, in chicago, the bears got the best of carolina 13-3, sacking delhomme 8 times in the process. but as the panthers demonstrated today, with a 23-0 thwacking of new york, they can beat any body and are sizzling right now. i say carolina has to continue to run the ball they have today and last week against atlanta. steve smith is the best receiver, in my opinion in the league. he led the league in receptions, td receptions , and yards receiving this year, the last person to do that was sterling sharpe in 1992. he can, and will get open, and he is electric when he does. heck, just ask the new york football giants

Hope no one bets paychecks, cuz the bears will win this one! most definitely! panthers are scared of our D and our offense is better now with the re-addition of T Rex. they will win this one because they in Chicago! watch and see!

jake delhomme- 4-1 in playoff career, over 100.0 passer rating, one nfc championship, lost in super bowl
grossman and orton combined= less reg. season exp. than delhomme, neither has played in a playoff game

grossman, he is not that good yet, he hasnt done much this season after that injury despite the hype. he scored 10 pts in a half- o wow!- against the leaky pass defense of not so hotlanta , and then beat the pack, who had a chance to win despite favres 4 picks.

u cant beat us unless u actually score something. we shut out the giants, who have a way better offense than u. and now i will pull out some stats from espn.com. next to them i shall mark whos advantage it is or too close to call.

never mind cant find it, but they are close
