Yup. Villa isn't who he was anymore. Sanchez and Pedro are meh now and Tello barely ever gets the chance by Tito to play matches like these. Fabregas isn't a striker, but he is also just bad now.

Hopefully Barca will get in a striker or two.

He has scored some of the most inspiring goals in his career, but that one against Sampdoria was just magnificent. I miss the old school Italy with Totti, Del Piero, Maldini, Nesta, Vieri etc. Even though they never won anything, it was just such a golden age for Italian superstars.

My brother & I follow him from the very first game... that was 20 years ago & Giannini was the prince of Rome at the time. He's scored nearly 300 goals & probably made that many assists & most of his career he's been a midfielder. He's truly the greatest genius I've had the pleasure to watch.
I miss that generation of players too... I'm glad Totti still plays & I hope he's gonna be around at least 2 more years from now. We've been more than lucky to have such great player for 20 years esp. since Real, Juve, Inter & Milan did anything to get him to play for them.
If Roma won that final & Totti scored that would be more than amazing... he is a semi God in Rome already but if he puts the TIM cup logo on Roma's shirts forever that would be just something else.

Yeah, I remember Milan really wanting him. That Milan line up would have been disgustingly good.
It's just such a fucking shame that people measure good players by what they earn but Totti's devotion and loyalty with worth more than any award or trophy is.
Who do you think the next prince of Rome is? I mean, De Rossi was always looked at as Totti's heir sorta but I really feel like he needs to move from Roma, tbh...would love him at Juventus.

Ancelotti tried to buy Totti while he was in Juve first... Wtf? lol Then Real wanted him really bad a few years in a row & even got frustrated with Roma not selling. Then Ancelotti wanted him really bad again but this time in Milan. The last big push was when Mancini wanted him in Inter.
Totti is a great champion & never let his club down... he could have done a lot more on personal level if he went in a bigger club but he stayed in Roma. :worship:

De Rossi is labeled Capitan futuro which means he suppose to be the next captain but he was never labeled the next prince of Rome. He'll be 30 in the summer & is in his 12th season with Roma so I don't think he's gonna leave. I hope not! The next prince of Rome supposed to be Aquilani but Liverpool bought him & broke him. Then he came back & had good spells with Juve & Milan & is now doing great for Fiorentina as well...we've lost him anyway. He looked like a little prince playing alongside Totti for sure though.

Roma teams has been blessed & their protagonists & best players have always been Romans & Romanisti... this is priceless & have been going from the very beginning.
Florenzi & Romagnoli are the new young boys Zeman brought in this year. Florenzi has played the most minutes along Totti & played a few games for Italy already too while Romagnoli who just recently turned 18 is destined for a bright future as well & saved Roma once already with a really important winning goal. The tifosi & all the players went nuts about it.

From the ones who are not Romans & Romanisti... I'm crazy about Lamela! Totti could pass him the torch one day but City & United already fight for his signature so it's gonna be tough for Roma to keep him.

It was all over for me when I saw he wasn't gonna play... it's sad 'cuz Sanchez & Busquets weren't playing so something better could have happened if the was on the field.
Barca looked horrible tonight but I give it up to Bayern too.

On another note I saw Boca been molested like last month or so... I couldn't believe it.

How's Veron doing homie?

yeah, I remember agreeing with you though lol and for the last couple of months they've been shit with or without messi. Fatigue must have something to do with it, bayern crushed them physically.

there's nothing confirmed yet but Veron is training with the team and will come back in july

Never leave us, Luiz. Never leave us. Future captain.

So.. a Europa League final. Not too pumped for it, but it'd be great to add the trophy to our collection. As long as we secure top 4, I'll be happy.

BTW, we will be Double European Champions for 10 days if we do :b:

If we have top 4 secured beforehand, I'll be more pumped for it.

Top 4 is the only thing on my mind now. It's absolutely vital we make it, especially with FFP going into full swing.

Yeah Bayern crushed them physically... it was hard to watch that shit. Messi does make huge difference in general but he can't do anything when the rest players are totally outplayed or physically crushed. They do need a physical forward too... Messi is gonna benefit from this.

Congrats to all y'all Chelsea supporters... :y: Get ready for some old fashioned ass whooping this weekend though! ;)

United players are gonna be fresher, won't be pressured to deliver 'cuz they don't need to & most of it it's a home game. Chelsea has a mountain to climb if they're just not to lose this game.

Yeah Aquilani started to get injured too often at some point & that ruined his greatness. When Liverpool bought him Totti said he was really sad to see a great football player, Roman & Romanista leaving the club to which he belongs. :worship:

Yeah man time flies... I still remember the day when De Rossi made his debut like it was yesterday.

so you hate the literally most unhatable Chelsea player there is? :confusion:

I generally don't like Chelsea overall, but something about Luiz pisses me the fuck off. Actually, the only player I don't dislike is Cech and sometimes Lampard.

Luiz is such a nice guy, just look at his Twitter. He has his moments on the pitch from time to time, but he's an awesome dude.

Surely you don't hate Juan Mata?

Each to their own, though.

Okay, now i'm pissed. He can get the fuck out.
He took it way too far, I know he meant that he wished there was competition between Casillas and the other goalkeepers (to make Casillas train harder each day) but that's just ignorant because almost every other great club has one amazing goalkeeper and a couple of worthless ones.
Second statement, is that really something to brag about? Getting knocked out 3 years in a raw is an achievement? LOL

Wtf? This shit is ridiculous! He just pushed Casillas under the bus... I fucking hate this.
Why does he even say this as Lopez played both games against Borussia too? lol Is Casillas fault Real took 4 in Germany?
Simply ridiculous!

DESPISE Mata.

I don't really mind Mata but I hate Luiz too. He injured pretty much everybody he played against in his first year for Chelsea. He should have been sent off most of the games he played in. I can't say anything about his skills though... just like Terry. He's a great football player but he's such a piece of shit.
Lamps & Cech are great though. & Ivanovic :worship:

Mind boggling. What don't you like about him? I'm geuinally curious to know. He's done absolutely nothing wrong (at least that I'm aware of) since arriving at Chelsea.

If you had said you despised JT, Ashley Cole etc, I'd have understood, but Mata?

Top bloke on and off the pitch! :b:
