I get what you mean, but Mancini is right in saying that the club didn't really pursue good enough players in the summer. FFP is an important factor to consider, but surely for the amount they've spent overall for Sinclair and Rodwell, they could have got a solid player.

I get your point Inno but he had great enough roster & it was his fault they didn't buy another striker cuz he ridiculously didn't sell Balotelli in the summer after all that happened last year. He had Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko & Balotelli & still asked for another striker.
No team in England started the season with 4 forwards of that quality anyway.
It was the same at Inter... Moratti was buying whoever he wanted for years & he was still crying for more.

That's true. The 4 strikers they had at the beginning of the season was pretty much unrivaled. We've only had 2 strikers at any given time during this season - it's been awful. Torres is occasionally acceptable, and Ba just hasn't been consistent. In the summer, we really need to grab ourselves a new striker unless we plan on using Lukaku. (we should use him, he's potentially world class, not to mention he's better than our current striking options)

When you have not won a trophy in 35 years and a guy comes in and wins you the FA Cup and the League in his first 3 seasons, he's proven his talent. Taking a title from Ferguson as well. He wasn't backed in the transfer window this summer and that's been our undoing. But he's a City Great.

I really hope we don't go round the Chelsea route. Let's not forget, our owners have only had 2 managers in 5 years. There's no comparison between the clubs, yet. But it sets an awful precedent that any minor blips will be punished with the sack.

Pelegrino has no track record.

I agree with everything you said... it wasn't just about Chelsea too. No team in England had 4 strikers like that when the season started & City had great players in all departments as well.

I'm sure Chelsea's next manager is gonna splash in the summer for sure though so don't worry about it.

I know man but this is his only excuse... the lack of success before him made him stand out.
He did win the title last year but was less than mediocre in Europe all along for 2 years in a row... he was pretty much mediocre with Lazio & Inter in Europe too. He's never been good enough to build an extraordinary team & City's ambitions are way bigger than what he can offer. I understand y'all like him for what he did but owners who spent such unbelievable amount of money won't wait on him. I mean they probably would've given him another year if he won the FA cup but he blew that too
.
He's had enough time & enough great players to build an extraordinary team but at the end of the day he built a mediocre one.

I agree about Pelegrino though... apart the fact he's still too young so you never now.

Nobody deserved to win anyway.

Mexes is a fucking faggot anyways. Last year he punched or elbowed Borriello and did not get punished for it. The motherfucker holds grudges and he was all over Totti. Not to mention Totti barely "nudged" him, let alone elbowed. Fucking pussy. This sport pisses me off so much sometimes, there are ZOOMED IN INSTANT REPLAYS nowadays, the entire world will see how much of a fake PUSSY you are.

I know, I hate Mexes... Totti was kicked on the regular from the start as usual. Ambrosini alone got him twice.

He's been kicked & held & whatever for 20 years now & he's had bad injuries 'cuz of people like Mexes but refs in Italy still don't protect the great players like they do in Spain & England. Like 5-6 yeas ago there was some statistics that pointed out Totti was by far the most fouled football player in the world.
Sometimes that's just totally irritating... just in this situation alone Mexes fouled him 2 times in 5 seconds before Totti tried to elbow him.

Yeah Totti is that dude. He's a fantastic, really nice & hilarious person apart when he's been the typical Roman who burns in the game like a Curva Sud hooligan who loses it when shit pile up on him. :y:

Check this... it's about those Totti jokes. He cracks up Del Piero, Vieri, Buffon, Nesta, Capello, Conti etc etc.

I guess someone said it already, but didn't read the last page. Messi is injured. End of the seasson for him.

That sucks but the kinda good thing is the season is like over already... still too bad if he's not fit for the game Sajn bought tickets though.

Against a Norwegian team called Vålerenga. Barcelona is coming to Oslo (where I live) in July. Messi is confirmed to come, but of course he won't if he is injured. The staff should let him rest the rest of the season and let the younger players play.

Oh it's all good then... I thought they were coming right after the last league game which would be very different case. July is pre next season so I it all is gonna be good by then anyway. :y:

REV, have you seen this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... AEFIaiqHc0 ?

LMAO at Fábio Coentrão.

To those who don't get it, he thought he was in the squad, but he wasn't, not even the bench. He was supposed to be up there with the other players who weren't gonna play.

Great first season, this video doesn't even include all of his goals. You can easily forget that this man is only 22.

Oh and Madrid were going after Ancelotti but it was blocked by PSG's board. Interesting.
