Are you ready to go up against the European champions (I love saying that)? That's the real question! :sweating:

They keep saying in the news that Christiano Ronaldo wants to get away from RM.

Yesterday he said in the news that he didn't celebrate his goal because he is sad, and upset about someone within the club. Today some newspaper are sayng he cried for 20 minutes after the match, and that he contacted Florentino Perez, saying he wants to get away.

These are all theories, and there are more.

I wonder what's going on.

Yeah, I don't think he is leaving either. It's just media.

I think people take it for granted that he is CR, and one of the best, so he doesn't need to be shown support that much, because "he probably knows it".

I also think his arrogance plays a part. There were news of him earlier this year about him acting like a baby and being egoistic so he can score just to win the Golden Ball, or whatever it's called, because he didn't even pass to better placed players. So I think some might be fed up with it.

He said he is sad , and that inside the club they know why. Rumours says it's because his friend Marcelo said Messi is better. But nobody really knows.
I'm sorry for the Cristiano fans, but he is a diva sometimes, he earns millions...come on...

This picture made me laugh, Messi looks like he is about to sleep:

Messi is not a diva like Cristiano. I don't hate Real Madrid, I don't hate Cristiano, but come on, he is earning a lot of millions to play football, what reasons can he have to act that way? then again lot of jokes in the media and trending topic in twitter "Cristiano is sad". I think his reasons are a mix of a few things, Marcelo said Messi is better, he was substituted in the match when there were 25 minutes to go, he lost the award of prayer of the year....
So here today the news are VAT increase and Cristiano is sad... ridiculous.

Why did we let Meireles go? He put in some very good shifts for us last season. He was pretty much faultless against Newcastle too. We've lost some much needed depth in the centre of the park.

Must've been unhappy at the club. He seems like he could be a bit egotistical just going from his appearance.

It's a pity. He had some great performances last year. We are definitely lacking in central midfield now.

He definitely wasn't happy when AVB was sacked. I remember he didn't bother celebrating his goal against Birmingham. Best of luck to him, I wish him the best. He was an important player during our CL campaign last season.

I'm not too sure why Emenalo has let two useful players go, but there must be a plan.

'I didn't celebrate because I'm unhappy' - Cristiano Ronaldo makes shock claim after Madrid win

"I'm sad because of a professional issue and the club know why. That's why I didn't celebrate the goals, because I'm not happy. The people [at the club] know why." he told reporters after the match.

"It's nothing to do with Iniesta [winning European player award]. I won't talk about this any more and I will concentrate on Portugal for now. There are more important things [than this]."

"The people at the club know about this. I can't say any more."

I saw that too and surprisingly, there is yet to come some "solid" speculation. (dope line tbh). Anyway, i hope they work it out because no matter how weak Barcelona are, a good Ronaldo is key to Madrid retaining the title.

Surprised too about Mireles!! Add to the fact that you defense obviously need some help in front of it and only Mikel seems to fit that job description now Essien is gone. Chelsea might regret this...

I think maybe he is sad because his dad died (7 years ago), and he asked to either not play that game, or have a minutes silence before it, but no... he was forced to play, so I think maybe that's why he is not happy.
I also think it has something to do with Marcelo, everyone is speculating on that... Because he said this year that Messi was the best player in the world, and also that Casillas deserved Golden Ball or something..... And CR and Marcelo are/were good friends.
