Because you can't.

Now, you've said that I will.

The tradition of football has been, and should always be, that you support your local team (before you say, I was born in Newcastle, lived there til I was 12 and most of my family still live there). That's how football always has been - unfortunately it's changing - people are supporting teams becuase they win stuff.

I mean you probably couldnt point Chelsea out on a map. You've never seen them play, you live in a fucking different country - there is no way in hell you can have the same love for a team than someone who's grown up supporting them/watching them or has lived part of their life in that said place.. You can't.

I guess the time you started supporting Chelsea was around the time they first won the PRemier League - am I correct here? That makes you a fan who only 'supports' their team when there winning stuff.

I mean, I get pissed of when Londoners support Man U - but you dont even live in the same fucking country as the club you support. Ridiculous.

Yes I can, you think I've never been to the Bridge?

People travel these days, you know?

No, it was when they won the FA Cup in '99/'00.

And lol, you started supporting them when they won the FA Cup - pretty much backs up my point.

So what if I ignored it? It's so pointless that it doesn't even deserve a reply.

What point? That I'm a gloryhunter?  Ok, go cheer for Newcastle.

And you failed with your other points so...

Ignorance is bliss, eh?

That was the main point - tradition of football - you dont support a team becuase they're successful - thats how its always been. If you don't understand the traditions of the game it's pointless even discussing it.

You've just admitted you're a gloryhunter yourself - again, until you understand the traditions of the game, all your points are irrevelant - your supporting a team based on success, therefore proving you're not a true fan.

You can do as many laughing smileys as you want, thats the trith.

It really shouldn't bother you if I'm a true fan or not, I'm mad when they lose and I'm happy when they win. Simple as that.

Anyway, why don't you have a look at this pic, a little reminder:

The most annoying thing ever is when someone starts liking a team just because they're winning. Root for your local teams. I seriously want to fight those people sometimes.

Whats wrong with supporting teams from other country's? But I understand your point of view. You live in England, and the football they play there is entertaining. In the other side, in small countrys like mine, no club is worth watching. I just can't explain it, you just have to see some bulgarian matches. I just want to watch some pretty and entertainig football, and thats why i watch England premiership :worship:
