I really do not know who is actually the 'best' league at the moment. I don't see Spanish teams going anywhere in CL. Their golden team was Barca and they seem lazy this year. EPL, something about their teams doesn't seem as hungry and determined as they were two years ago. Serie A just isn't capable at the moment, give Serie A a couple more years to retain it's full strength. It's a coin toss, really.

I don't think has more hot prospects then England but I guess that might only be an opinion of mine and anyway, I think Spain contains more youth prodigies then any other league. You might hate Inter but you have to admit that they have simply been dominating the Serie A for the past years and for the same years they haven't been able to do shit in the Champion's league; that only proves the ''new'' weakness of the Italians teams.

I watch Goal Tv, in Canada, and they play every 'big' game of the SL.

I don't like back to back and long-ball plays and I don't think that that's all you find in England but you're right, there is some teams that play like that but not all of team and if I take into account that almost all the teams play the same way (I explained it earlier) then you get an unwatchable game. Even if I only take into account the best teams in both leagues, EPL still wins by a long way.

4 or 3 it won't change anything because they'll win it again this year. YES the referee scandal has crushed Italy, I totally agree with you on this because if you go back only about 10 years ago you'd see another Serie A. It seems as if they lost a dimension of their play.

I'm not a EPL fan just for your information, I prefer the Spanish league but I always come to this thread to see what's up and I saw your post so I thought you were exposing arguments as to why Serie A would be better then the EPL so sorry for any misunderstanding.

For the champion's league part; Barcelona might not be as electric as last year but they are still great and they're still winning (they are the only team undefeated in their league, no team in any major European championship is undefeated), Madrid have a world-class team, they always put up a fight and their team, on paper, looks indestructible but they have sucked for the past years in the champion's league so we'll see...Inter..well Inter ..same story as always but I think they might make it to the quarters this year (Chelsea have been average lately). Man U; they will be there at the end, Arsenal are classed ''x'' you never know what can happen with them.

Again; Spanish League>EPL>Serie A
But that's only my opinion.

I'm extremely happy John Terry got stripped of captaincy. That fucker had it coming, how could he fuck his friend's wife and look him in the eye..Absolutely no moral; and that guy is supposed to be a role model for kids and players?

Exactly. Considering Wayne bridge is the second choice left back, he's sure to come to the WC so what are they supposed to do. Capello can either drop Bridge which will cause an uproar since it's JT's fault or drop JT which would mean 0 defence for England or take both...Sworn enemies in the same team will divide the England team in 2; JT's side and Bridge's side. And just because JT loses captaincy doesn't mean that everyone in the team will only forgive him; there will be negative feelings towards the asshole so ....what the fuck will Capello do?

actually, from footages that i've see, Rio is a well liked member of the squad, he's the 'ghetto' character in the squad, talking gangster all the time and wearing bling. i think he'd make a good captain in terms of motivating the squad etc, but i still think Rooney or Gerrard would do a better job. personally, i like the captain to be in the midfield, so he can talk to everyone on the pitch. so i've got to go with Gerrard.
