I don't want to be a smartass, but.. Xray is actually originally from Iraq, so, you're all wrong. He is far from close to being european.

Saw the Sydney and assumed he was an aussie

But it explains his knowledge of football even more.

Why would that explain his knowledge of football? Dude lives in Australia, for years now, but he's from Iraq. That's actually a pretty ignorant comment you made... Just because someone is from Iraq doesn't mean he/she doesn't a know a thing about football.

Both versions are correct, as far as I know.

Indeed, Puyol played a fucking great match. Viva España!!!!

But I'm still for the Netherlands, eventhough I love Spain...

So we have two teams who havent played well ONCE in the final. Great.

Another shit game by the way. This World Cup's been an anticlimax.

Oh, and Paul the fucking Octopus has done it again

You're just mad about the fact that you've lost that bet. (You did place a bet on the game, right?)

And, it wasn't a shit game. Just 'cause Spain and the Netherlands haven't scored a million goals during this WC doesn't mean they didn't play well. They created chances, kept the discipline in the group, and both played like a team should play, like a team.

However, I do agree on the fact that both teams have problems scoring. But in terms of playing football, Spain did a good enough job. Germany came short.

^I am pissed at that, yeah. Lost a fair but of money. But seriously, neither team has played well throughout the tournament.

Spain
-Lost to Switzerland
-Beat Honduras (as they should)
-Beat Chile unconvicingly.
-Beat Portugal unconvincingly
-Got very very lucky against Paraguay
-Were okay against Germany but nothing special

Holland
-Average against Denmark
-Same against Japan - relied on goalie fuck up
-Struggled to beat a terrible Cameroon side
-Played okay against Slovakia
-Relied on an incredible Brazil collapse

Dont get me wrong, they won and thats all that matters, I'm just saying

I agree on the fact that both teams won in a very unorthodox manner. But the thing that makes both teams strong is (including Germany), is that they play as a team. Which aids them in grabbing that opportunity when it shows up.

They are disciplined enough to play 'business' like. Granted, Spain lost against Switzerland, and Netherlands had a tough game against Brazil during the first 45 min.. But, they had the discipline, and a share of luck, to turn the tables around.

And Spain just knows how to play football. Their weakness is scoring, though. They really have to work on getting the actuall ball in the goal. Same problem Arsenal has had since Henry left...

Seriously.... fuck all the haters! Spain fucking did it for the FIRST time!!! About fucking time! It's in the final and you can all moan but they still did it! Spain-Netherlands not what I expected but damn I'm so proud for both teams. Spaaaaaaaain! Shit was amazing, Spain played like a team, it wasn't just okay dude it was fantastic. The only thing that worries me is getting the ball in at the end of such great play. Germany unluckily for them did not get their revenge and they just weren't able to keep up with La Furia Roja. I'm so HAAAAAPY and then I'm asking myself, WTF am I even doing here now, should have carried on the celebrating but NO I'm keeping that for when and if we win this World Cup! That was just awesome, I really didn't expect the goal from Puyol but he did it. Oh yeeeees!

Thought Spain were great today. Their passing was spot on, put pressure on the germans whenever possible, once again managed to let everyone be a part of build up, their defenders were unbeatable apart from a few situations etc.

By far the best football team today.

Felt like puking when Pedro didn't decide to pass the ball to Torres... young and fucking naive, I guess.
