the bears are what 9-3 going on 10-3 when they destroy the steelers this sunday. With the best defense in the game any team that doesnt have a rediculous offense aka the colts will not beat the bears. We need to get some offense going Ortin is kinda a joke

no shit uve seen em play a bunch, they had four i believe last year, maybe five. i liived near philly about 30 minutes a way last year, and the fans were obnoxious like the stereotype. i now live in nh. im 16 lived my first 14 and a half years in sc. i just dont think the bears offense can compete in the playoffs. i see them losing one maybe two games the rest of the way and carolina going undefeated the rest of the way, giving carolina at least a two seed.

which would mean seattle and carolina get byes. if seattle had the one seed chicago would have to travel to charlotte assuming they win first round and face a panthers team that got to rest during the first week of playoffs with that bye. if panthers had one seed it would be other way around. either place is a tough place to play.
i hope seattle stumbles along the way so my panthers can get the one seed, but that is not likely to happen as they have an easy road ahead. so this is a fair assumption of how it could turn out in the nfc side of the playoffs, i know much more about the nfc than the afc as my panthers play in that conference.
1. seattle
2. carolina
3. chicago- i predict they lose to either pitt or atlanta but win the other
4. giants
5. and 6. dallas and minnesota could go either way. lets say vikes get 5 seed
first round bears over dallas giants win in ot vs. vikes
2nd round seattle over g-men carolina gets the slight win due to home field advantage
championship game for the nfc - carolina in the upset

ill have my super bowl analysis in a few minutes gotta pick up a few stats and this post might be too long

carolina, with key offseason additions of ken lucas from seattle at cornerback, and guard mike wahle from green bay, has better players than they did in 2003, when they won the super bowl. in that year, carolina played indy in indy fifth game of season, with each team undefeated going into the game. why is this significant? because that was what i predicted the matchup would be in the super bowl before the season, even though i always pick my panthers, i know talent when i see it and we got it. both teams are on the rise, carolina has won 8 of 9 after an awful 1-2 start. the colts are 12-0 and eyeing an undefeated season. the question is will indy coach tony dungy rest his starters if they beat the jags this week and in the process lock up home field advantage. i dont think so, not with history on the line, not with the chance to become the first ever undefeated team since the 72 dolphins became the one and only. but if manning gets hurt they are done plain and simple. do u know who their backup is, didnt think so. it is jim sorgi, who has done nothing and has had absolutely no experience. but u cant really predict an injury, so i am saying they meet carolina in the super bowl with history at stake, because i think the colts will have a perfect 18-0 record coming into the game held in detroit. when carolina played the colts in our super bowl season of 2003, we overcame a halftime deficit of 13-3 to win 23-20 in ot. the key ingredient to that win was rushing , where we had 189 rushing to the colts 72. that helped us overcome our lack of passing which the colts had the edge in yardage 293-181. of course, the colts d is better this year, and going into last week our rushing was the worst in the league. but then deshaun foster got his first start of the season and had his best game of his career, which is the right time to peak, as we beat vick for the first time ever in blowout fashion 24-6. we sacked him 5 times as well. i gotta go, ill tell u why we match up with the colts well later.

ok i got some stats to show why we match up pretty well against them, i havent looked at them yet though, so i hope i dont look like an idiot when im saying this.
they are averaging 30.5 ppg (colts) carolina 20.4
defensive ppg allowed colts 13.5 carolina 16.2
weve intercepted 17 (panthers) colts 15
thrown picks panthers 13 colts an advantage with only 8
defensive rushing yards per game allowed
colts 97.2 panthers 3rd best in nfl with 84.8
holy crap all the other stats match up even closer, im going to see if i can get stats for last 5 games or so. i cant find that right now im going to compare players give me a sec

delhomme (carolina) vs. manning (indy)
comp pct. 60.6 68.4
yards per attempt 7.88 8.28
ints 13 8
times sacked 21 9
foster rb (car) james (indy)
yards per carry 4.0 4.4
receiving avg. 12.4 8.1
theres a bunch of lopsided stats resulting in favor to james, but lack of pt makes it irrevelant and useless as those states are not averages.
star wideouts smith (car) harrison (indy)
receptions 82(1st in nfl) 66
rec yards 1226(1st in nfl) 855
rec. avg per play 15.0 13.0
rec. td's 10 (t-1st in nfl) 10(t-1st)
rec first downs 57 45
rec of 20 plus yards 17 9
40 plus yards 5 2
kickers kasay (car) vanderjagt
field goals 18-24 15-16
