So it looks like there will be an interim heavyweight match - Mir vs. Shane Carwin

I believe that was going to be for the actual heavyweight belt....But Lesnar has been cleared to fight again I guess.

So it looks like the winner of the mir - carwin fight will fight lesnar later on (116 I believe) and if the winner of that fight is injured and cant fight that soon, it will be valasquez, the guy who just beat nogueiro

I'd like to say im happy about this. Brock lesnar has an opportunity to be one of the best...I just hope the injury hasnt effected his fighting too bad. If it hasnt, he should be champion for a while.

Sorry to tell you but Kimbo will never be a serious threat to anyone. He will never fight for the title. The guy would get smashed by 95% of the Heavyweights in the UFC. Lesnar would rape this guy so bad. Kimbo is fighting Matt Mitrione next, I bet Kimbo will get knocked out.

Kimbo has potential for sure. I see where your coming from but he has potential. He held his own ( besides the patruzi(or whatever his name is) fight ) without any real training at all. Give him some training and he'll be able to hold his own.

Maybe not in the heavyweights, but light heavy.

As for his next fight, when is that going to be? If they were smart, they would put it with the same night as the lesnar fight. That would be a money maker for sure.

And also, keep in mind...UFC sees how much money kimbo brings in, they are going to try to get him skilled and fight him with not so tough fighters to keep him in. If he looses 2-3 fights in a row his career is done and that doesnt help ufc much.

Kimbo and Fedor would be the biggest money makers for ufc besides rivalry fights and I dont think they would just throw that in the garbage.

Yes Kimbo is a huge draw but Lesnar is a 10x a bigger draw then him. No one wants to see Kimbo vs Fedor because Fedor would kill him in 1 min. Everybody wants to see Lesanr vs Fedor because Lesnar has a chance in beating Fedor.

Even in Light Heavyweight, he would still get smashed. You think he could beat guys Like Rampage, Shogun, Machida, Randy? I don't think so. But that's just me.
