I'm no pro at making covers but I'd say...

Make that blood splatter a little more realistic. Fine more realistic brushes of that kind I guess. For the text, placement is pretty good just change the font to something Eminem uses in his covers. You know, just the plain Arial typed font (I think that's it at least; Arial Black).

Other than that it's okay. Better brushes, better font.

And don't scrap it, it's better than something I would've came up with for a Taking My Ball cover.

Nah the blood is too distracting now, I'd say remove the blood, and since it looks like his sitting on something, make him sit on something. Make it seem like his sitting on a curb, in a street basketball court or something. Just an idea though, but its pretty cool none the less.

2nd one was a lot better yeah. I'd just say as Xray said, take out the blood, make it 400x400, and put the same Parental Advisory Sticker that Shady Records uses. Though you said you wont try again I just felt like telling you just in case
