if you take it away, its not someone beating you to it, its everyone beating you to it, especially with the feture were is someone posts before you it comes up and tells you, think if no one was waiting ? in active big news thread you click post and every fucking second someone else has already posted so it comes up and shows you...you then wait 20 minutes till you click post fast enough to beat someone.


if the forums quiet enough for you to go about and post that much then its quiet enough to wait an extra 2 seconds

its there coz say someone was like "gimme a link to watch stan on youtube" you got the link and went to post it then it showed you someone else had already posted while you were typing out your post, your post is no longer need coz they already have what the asked for.

but you can post it anywae like "here's another link" no biggie i dont think
