Every computer virus i ever had could only be removed manually.

U have find the reg. entry of the virus then u have to find the log that restores the reg. entry after u try to delte it. I always ask my friends from the computer science department to do that for me, so sorry cant remember how its suppose to be done exactly .

just get zone alarm and a firewall with virus protection. i have Avast. its free and really easy to use. it tells me when i have a virus on my computer so its awesome

It's probable just a bot. Remove Msn, everything. Plug for a sec your internet connection out. (The virussen or popups don't have a chance to mess than).
Now turn off your computer, start it up and press F8, few times and Choose ''Safe Mode''. At safe mode, perform a virusscan, everything, clean out your register. Turn on yur computer, normal. Put your internet in, install Msn and Done.
