When you've deleted something, for example a file called ASP.txt with a size of 5kb, the file is still on the drive, the only thing that disapears is the register over where the file itself is..
That file wont be gone unless it's overwritten with something else, and that can take a while.
What I'm tryin' to say is that those files that you wants to delete forever really doesn't take any diskspace.

Sorry for my crappy english, hope you understood something^

Yeah, so il just explain to asp what to do-

if you have somthing that must be deleted, and you dont mind formating, heres what you do, format your computer, then install windows as many times as it takes to fill your drive up (could take like 5 hours, took me 7), then format again, and all that memory is lost forever, cause what you did is cover it up with windows memory instead of your own files...

NOPE, that's NOT true!
Windows will just fill exactly the same memory every time you installs it.
(if you doesn't change install dir every single time, but if so, you'll end up with 20-30 WinXP installations to boot from when restarting.=
The very best thing to do is either a low-stage-formatting, or use some program that writes constantly to the disk with just crap, take a look at this for example:

.. but that doesn't work either, at least not as it is supposed to, cause you have to got your OS (windows) running when running that app, and it can't "wipe" files windows are using (the system partition).
