How to convert djvu to pdf, doc or txt

Postby SkylZ » Sep 10th, '06, 19:54

I been looking for some books lately and just found one of them but it's in the djvu format. Now I gotta find a way to convert it to one of the "normal" formats to be able to read it on my cellphone. You got any ideas how to do it?

ummm...im not sure how to read it on ur cell phone but the file DJVU can be opened by a program called WinDjView. heres the link to download it:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Office-too ... View.shtml

i dont know of any programs to totally convert it but u can try to convert the file and see if u can trick the program into thinking its another extension.

1. right click on the .djvu file

2. click on "properties"

3. at the end of the file name put .doc or .txt

i should work but im not entirely sure  :smoking:

thanks for the advice but nope, it didn't work. I'm trying to find something through yahoo bit it only gives programs that do the opposite thing: onvert to .djv. At least it means that there's gotta be some way to do what I need :)
