Get Rich Or Die Tryin' Original Movie Poster

Postby ThomasAguanis » Apr 1st, '06, 18:39

people in the entertainment section were saying why they changed the baby in the poster and some one else said it was originally a gun. that got me wondering what it looked like so i searched and found this:

at least it makes sense...

the baby thing was just stupid! :tounge2:

I assumed 50 would have a kid in the film.... guess it is even more rediculous than i thought it would be. :confusion:

I like that poster, I think the message is very clever and it represents the movie well. Its a joke that they had to be removed, some people make too much of a big deal about things :tounge2:

I never saw that poster. Thanks for posting it. I haven't seen the movie yet (they started checking ID's again and I'm only 15 so I couldn't go see it), so I wouldn't know if it made more sense than the baby.

I know. That's what I don't get. And at our biggest movie theater where I live, we had like this huge larger than life cardboard poster thingy of it and everyone who worked there was wearing t-shirts with the pic on it.

its cause mr and mrs smith aint got a hold over the youth like 50 has.Like in london even the poster with the baby was banned.Apparently boosted the crime rates round uk.

i dont liek when people pull the race card with everything. In some cases its totally true and obvious but i believe its purley based on 50's rep.I mean in leeds,uk. When 50 was doin a live concert 2 people got shot.

Shit liek that dont help his rep ,hence why they get arse hurt bout his posters and shit.Belive it or not but music is a powerful tool and 50 is looked up to by so many kids....just like em

nope belive it or not.I did find it made me look at 50 cent as a 'person' a different way.Get rich 'the album' made more sense when you played it back.

I just found it made me view 50 as a 'person' and not as the 'rapper' i just saw before.

But thats just me.I would have liekd the film to show how g unit got set up with buck and banks but aprat from that it was great.

4/5 :worship:

after u seen the movie just listen to 50's independent release album called 'Guess Who's Back?" ,, he raps about everythin seen in the movie mayn,,, like "i got a benz when i was 18" like he did in the movie n shit like that,,
"It's amazing that the amount of news that happens in the world every day always just exactly fits the newspaper."

My basic disk will make you take a razor to your wrist
Make you satanistic
Make you take the pistol to your face
N place the clip N cock it back
N let it go until your brains are rippin out your skull so bad
To sew you back would be a waste of stitches

word ,it brought ,for me, the whole meaning of his trakcs to a new level. Its something i dont think till now a rapper has really managed. He really backed up all the stuff he raps about. The film was awesome in my eyes.
