I had a dream I was at the bottom of a deep frozen pond
looking upward at the shadowy footsteps someone on the surface was making
I hear the muffled crunching sounds echoing thru the dark water
Thru the thundering ice fractures I hear a faint calling of my name
Suddenly im up in that persons body only the season has changed
I look down at my feet and there knee deep in sand
Jus then a salmon pokes up and asks me to help him
When I try to answer instead of words only water comes from my mouth
I start to suffocate and the fish swims up stream into my stomach
there he asks where have you been didn’t you hear me calling you
