My mate James died a few months ago, me n another mate were just talking bout ti cause tonight we both going to the same club we last saw him at, so i writ this...

It’s been a few months now and even though we seem we moved on
We still see you and miss you and we can’t believe that you’ve gone
Was too strong, the feeling felt when I was laying your flowers
You might have lost your thoughts but trust me ,you ain’t lost in ours
The hours, that went by when all I did was sit and gaze
Just thinking about our memories of all the younger days
No other ways, would I have had the life you lead if I could choose
Your friends and family all loved you, and your loving girlfriend too
The end of you, was like the end of us, like an end to an era
But we still love you, she does to, I hope that you can hear her
Nearer to us than you think ‘cause all our prayers are joined as one
And we’ll all come by to see you when it’s all our time to come
The mind is numb, form all the memories replaying in our minds
Just circling round in all our heads, like you’re a tape stuck on rewind
But it’s all fine, ‘cause I know we will all see you once again
We’ll never leave you out of anything ‘cause you were once a friend
