Some people were mentioning structure, and someone said to make the lines be about the same length, they said something like for example:
************************************dude
***********************************mood

^that's the right idea but let me help you a little more. You want the structure, or each bar (line) or whatever to have the same amount of syllables, it doesn't have to have to line up like was said before and I showed again ^^^.

For example if you're saying in a verse:

It’s become outrageous it’s like a plague-is,
Contagious I’m lit but the pages flameless,

They don't match up exactly but they each have 11 syllables, that's not the best example cause they are extremely close in length but I hope that you understand what I'm saying. If you have a bar with 12 syllables and the next with 8 it's prolly not going to flow. Hopefully this helped, any other questions feel free to PM me!

Does that seem more complicated or is it just me? How can you rap about what you want when matching syllables? Does eminem use that same stuff or just does he go crazy?

No, it's no complicated, it's just you.

And you can rap about what you want when matching syllables. Most of this site does, at least.

Eminem knows how to flow, and he doesn't type up his stuff in the way we do and from reading lyric sheets in his The Way I Am it doesn't matter for him or any recording artist how they structure it because they aren't presenting it in text they know what the flow is and how to go along with it.

the syllables don't have to be exact as long as it flows well.
