So 2 songs in 2 days (or like 12 hours) is fucking unheard of for me, but it's all gravy bitches. Wrote this to a beat called The Best Around by Beat Basement, so props to them. Should be the first beat in their little player thing. This started out focusing on numbers, but it got less and less focused on that as time went on. Like a lil autobiography of James R. honestly. 19 hundred, 4 score, and 9 years
9 months 28 days and I’m here
I was 10 days late born 2:26

So they did the C-section in just a few seconds
Pulled me out the womb and I took 2 breaths in
Damn near died, my dad’s sweat drippin
Thank the 2 physician’s 1 decision now I’m livin
Skip fast forward, I’m far past normal
I hopped up and walked man I never crawled formal
I met my best friend he was 3 days younger
Always avoided the watch that we stayed under
Replay hundreds of times we nearly died
He always had my back you’d never hear me cry
Fuckin our new clothes, aint care for fly gear
Lasted 18 hundred 26 days, that 5 years
At kindergarten we parted, went to different schools
But I thought I was the shit, I was livin cool
At a fresh 5 years I had myself a lady friend
Kissin in the coat room, she used to drive me crazy man
That lasted all year, 1 hundred and 80 days
Then 1st grade came and then we made a break
Met my dude Stephen, punched he wasn’t breathin
I whooped this kid’s ass to save Stephen from beatins
2 best friends with 1 life to live it up
About 8 years later my parents packed and picked it up
Moved me to a new spot, so I started 9th grade
Pissed about it all but my dog said the hype’s great
Rewind just a minute, lost both my best friends
Till I met my homie Donald and I let the stress end
But that’s history, so back to the first pace
Started high school and hated it in the worst way
It mainly sucked and I don’t wanna bore you
So fuck that Ima just speed it up for you
9th was some bull shit, saw a couple full clips got into a beef wit some punk bitch fool crips
10th was the same thing talk about tool spit I made honor roll but I couldn’t follow rules shit
Then I was junior had to make the future, got my first girlfriend now I wanna shoot her
Good for a long time, dumped her at the wrong time, found out she cheated so I’m like screw her
But I’ll bring it back down for the 12th grade section
Dumped my girl fresh onto a new selection
But then I got played a couple times so I’m bitter
I got a little head and then helped her ex diss her
Eye for an eye, but that bitch was left blind
I’m seein 20/20 or 15 on one side
Summer time was fly though I couldn’t write rhymes
By the way I was writing ever since my aunt died
That was May 05 and ain’t a day go by
Where I didn’t stop and think and almost cry
She was 45, but took 8 or 9 shots
Of Vodka, popped some pills and smoked a lot of pot
Then she got wild and didn’t do a load of coke
But with a bad heart it wasn’t much to an overdose
So that was 2 plus years my pen was to the pad
But it wasn’t til now I wrote the dopest shit I had
So thanks for inspiration auntie, I really mean it
You could have just snorted my lines and felt weeded
And while I’m in the past shout out to my baby sis
Born in 95 she was always on some crazy shit
But she grew a lil bit, learned a couple lessons
And I can speak to her all day through text message
So that brings us back to now, a lot of crap learned
Went to college and it sucked balls, a lot of stacks burned
But it brought me back to rappin and I dunno what happened
But it’s like since we been together I got my life captive
I’m back in the driver seat, don’t drive by the beef
I hit it straight on, used to scare the shit outta me
I’m braver now, smarter now, and I’ll tell you smtn else
