Going through a poetic phase now, had to jot down a 12 bar poem -on a beat- to clear my head.
Feedback would be appreciated.

-Life's Poetry-
Life is centered on ‘if’, so our journey is based on doubt.
The mouth is marked with hesitation, so there is no doubt-
That the ‘f’, in life, is a cloak to cover up the hoax of life
So we coax ourselves to connect with things called ‘right’
Enter war thinking it’s about who’s right, it’s about who’s left
We try not to give up and stay down with our shoes intact
While we walk on water and suffer from a messiah complex
When the rain pours we better be on Noah’s arks deck
Life’s fragile so we support it with frames like an architect
While trying to be good like one of the arch angels in fact
There don’t go days by where we don't think with whom we stand
Evil or good? .... At the end of the day we just try to withstand
