Let the new school act!

Postby TiBon » Oct 21st, '09, 15:28

This is a song I'm writin', this is just the first verse:

Check it two thousand ten, I'm progressive
I'm new in this shit so I won't get far away
today, original hip-hop is the ninties
all the new artists are just shit and garbage
for them*, hip-hop is dead, is inactive
there is only commercial rap in two thousand something
and if a new playa release a good track
they all start tellin' that he's-doin'-it like 2Pac
there is no way out from this shitty beliefs
more copies are sellin' the remastered than brand new CDs
and tell me how should I interact?
FUCK IT, JUST LET THE NEW SCHOOL ACT!

*ppl who critisize new artists

It was bad. Considering it barely rhymed yeah it was bad. But the content itself was alright. Though I didn't get the concept of "letting then new school act", if you could explain, please?

It's rhymin', try put it ni Method man's release yo' delf in the place of the first verse.
The concept is about ppl thinking that hip-hop is dead and the say they don't like new artists without even hearin' em.
