it's crazy
just a couple days ago in Haiti
it was an everyday kinda day
n now they lay in waiting
waiting for food, water
n basic necessities
a place for the dead
so they may rest in peace
a place for their heads
so they may lay in peace
everything we take for granted
is everything they really need
a whole country dismantled
so many in suffering
you can't imagin this
a building collapses in
and you're trapped within
askin God to take you fast n then
it happens an aftershock takes you back to him
survivors smack dab in the middle of blood born pathogens
cuz half their kin
are baskin in
80 degree heat
in the street
n theres no ambulance
n a lack of body bags
man we cant have this shit
imagine in a minute it's finished
your whole exsistance diminished
or imprisoned in this shit
no tournequet for insicions
minute to minute decisions
sent into a mission
envisioned different
but still livin
with what you've been given
you mumble n tumble
over destruction n rubble
cup your nuts n then stumble
cuz theres nothin after the rumble
