A Swedish man who filed a discrimination complaint against his former employer says he was fired for taking a part-time internship at a pornography store.

Niclas Nilsson of Skelleftea said he was fired from his part-time job at personal care assistant staffing agency Frosunda Assistans after six months with the company when his boss learned he was moonlighting behind the counter at Erotic Video, The Local reported Friday.

"He didn't think it was appropriate for me to be working there, so he cut my hours and took me out of the staffing rotation," Nilsson said. "I feel humiliated and hung out to dry as if I were a sex addict."

Nilsson said he took the Erotic Video internship because the local employment office told him he needed a full-time job or a second part-time job. He said the pornography store was a logical choice because it allowed him to work around his erratic schedule as a personal care assistant.

Nilsson said he filed a discrimination complaint against Frosunda Assistans with Sweden's Equality Ombudsman.
