11/27 BREAKING: Tiger Woods is in serious condition in a Florida hospital after being involved in a car accident, according to the Orlando Sentinel newspaper.

Police have not confirmed reports of the crash, in which the golfer's car reportedly struck a fire hydrant.

The Associated Press news agency, quoting the Florida Highway Patrol, says the star was pulling out of his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac sport utility vehicle at the time.
