if u really dont like College dont go there, but if u think there is a mini chance that u will like it try it, i wouldnt join the army, cuz i dont like that type of things, if u want to keep focus on ur music u can do it while ure in college, u can get a degree and that may help u to get a job and all that
again like others said if ure not sure take a gap year to think about it and all the posibilities u have
thats what i would do

but if u really see no future in going to college and u have no money to pay for it, try to get a job and if u cant then join the military

shit were all kids growing up, none of us are going to like college but at a certain point you have to be mature about your decisions and stop living in the present and think about the future. when you go to college your going to meet people and they may or may not have a huge impact on your life. people are coming from across the country and world to be in a place THEY want to be in, so its not like high school, you dont have to be there but you have to make a mature choice to do so. you wont be dealing with little kid shit as much. and for music, you can still do that. take music classes man. you might enjoy that. for the army though, thats strictly on you. what do you want to prove? this year i met this dude justin, who was a recruiter, and thats all he tried to do. telling me the earlier i sign up the more money i get (1000 dollars each month i have left til graduation, thats serious gwap) but you have to take other things into consideration. how you are going to be after the war, etc. just do what YOU think is right. good luck bro.

Well Zach Ima keep this short and sweet. You're only in high school now. The 10th grade at that, so you've got time to think about this. School is NOT for everyone. Believe me. It has nothing to do with intelligence or drive as you know. It's just not for everyone. So if you're not feeling it then don't go. Maybe do a semester at community if you really just want to try it.

From talking online I know that you want to serve your country and I respect that so much. If that's what you REALLY want to do then do it, but make sure you put a ton of thought into it. While it may not be an easy out now, the military does often become that as we both know. You have things that you love to do. You're good at those things. See where your life is leading you before you commit (I think) 4 years to something as serious and dangerous as the military. The threat of war is always looming but we're in the actuality of war and even though we're coming out of Iraq we're not leaving the middle east any time soon.

So just weigh your options. See what you love doing. Explore things, try to find yourself man. A part of me thinks that this is you trying to figure yourself out. You love your country, so you fight for and serve it. Makes sense, but don't forget that there are tons of other things out there for you. Beyond school, beyond the military, beyond music, beyond anything you've probably thought of. There's always a thousand choices each one of us can make. Try to find them all before you start choosing.

Finish school first. Cuz if you stop school now, and than go to the army, and that you quit the army, you will be there with nothing. So first finish school, get that fucking diploma and do whatever you want cuz If after 2 years you're sick of army, you can find another job easier than whitout your diploma.

You know as me that times are hard. It's harder and harder to find a job. In Europe for exemple, you can't do anything without that stupid piece of paper that says you graduate from school, I swear, NOTHING, not even in McDonald.

I hope I was clear
