Hell

What do y'all think is the truth about Hell? In Chrstianty, Hell is eternal but in other faiths, such as Islam and the Chinese version of Buddhism, you're only there untill you've paids your dues. But I've reads somewhere that belief in Hell is also a pagan belief.

I personally think some form of reward and punishment exists. If not, that means thant people who spend thier lives torturing people share the same fate as the most peaceful people.

I believe in heaven and hell and that it is a eternal place of fire and brimstone only for the people who don't know God. The devil is not there though...yet..so yep i believe in a final death which is either heaven or hell...

people should face responsibilities for actions in life, not after death.

^ True, because if someone murders someone, he isn't gonna pay in life, he's gonna pay in death, after he's already killed someone?

I think it's just something Christians made up to frighten people into believing their faith.

There is no logical reason why someone will pay the price for their actions in the afterlife. Hell was made up by the Christian Church so people would be afraid and walk the line.

let's look at it from a different perspective:
there are many different religions who all claim to be the only true one
(i.e. Christianity, Islam...)
and if you don't believe in their God and only their God, you'll burn in hell.
so basically most ppl will go to hell even if they didn't do anything wrong.
doesn't seem fair to me tbh

if they deserved to be in hell it wont finish in a time..i mean theres nothing like "only there until you've paids your dues"if they went there they will stay there..
plus this believing in Allah is only for the Muslims..our religion doesnt say the others dont believe in Allah so they will rot in hell..they r not Muslim so that we cant say they will rot in hell..only if they were Muslim it would be right..but its obvious there r alot of regions n ppl r free to believe in whichever they wants..n the thing u said is not in use for others..as i can explain..

which religion? values (on which you can base if something is a sin or not) can differ greatly...
