I'm surprised you're able to get it at all.

I know nothing about New Zealand, but I always just sort of assumed that it would be more difficult to get decent Molly on an island. How many times in a month do you roll?

I don't know anyone that can get pure MDMA here in Australia, but I could get my hands on almost anything else.

I've never done pills in my life, but I would love a hit of MDMA.

Here in the U.S. if you find any Molly, it's always powder in a capsule. Rolls are always stamped with meth.

People don't even know that it's wrong. They're like, "Oh yeah, I got the coke based Ecstasy" or the "meth based" or the "heroin based". It's like...one one hand, at least they're telling you what your shit was stamped with, but on the other hand, what the fuck is wrong with you? Why would you want to fuck up a sweet girl like molly by adding a dirty slut like crank?

Eh, to each their own. SliK, do you know if 6-APB is legal in Australia? I'm not usually an advocate for RC's, but if you're looking for a good roll (albeit, a little speedy) then the Benzo Fury is the one for you. It's still legal in the U.S. and if I didn't dislike strong stims so much, I'd give it another go.

I have no idea, we have lots of "legal high" options including pills and cocain substitutes but I dunno which kind. I don't feel like trying them all out.

Well, 6-APB isn't one of those modified cathinone drugs, and never did make it into the headshops around here. Shit's pretty crazy...the most amazing roll ever for 6 hours straight, but the stimulation doesn't wear off until 14 hours after that. If it didn't tweak me so hard, I would have done it again.

That's an interesting topic of discussion, SliK, but I'm on the fence about the whole thing.

I mean, the doctors documenting that condition are still in the early stages of study, so I'll give the fairly low amount of evidence the benefit of the doubt. In my very limited reading about this, I have found some discussions on whether or not CHS could actually be the same thing as Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS), which has nearly the same symptoms but isn't linked to cannabis intake.

Hmmm...

I only came across an article about it today and I googled it and read the wiki article. I really don't know enough about it to make a judgement.

I can say that from every long term user I've ever seen... pot definitely fucks your brain. Old stoners, every single one, are stupid and crazy.

Well, maybe so, but I don't know that it's actually a cause->effect relationship.

Normally, people grow out of it eventually, or they decrease their intake drastically. Not just with marijuana, but any intoxicant. The ones that don't are usually pretty weird by the time old age hits, but I'm not sure that's a direct result of the marijuana. It seems like the only old burnouts your going to know would have never really amounted to anything anyway, because they are lazy and only good at running from reality.

You're right, but as a persons who has used it every day for 5 years (excluding a few "breaks") I know it's fucking with my mind. I have noticed things, like I know I'm not as sharp now as when I don't smoke. I have a friend who was a constant smoker and had smoked longer than me. He used to it "calm his mind", like I do. But he said when he stopped, after a few months his mind calmed down on its own. He stopped over thinking everything and became more confident. I use it to shut my mind off, it constantly races unless I am smoking weed. Maybe it's actually the weed that causes this, or makes it worse, as a long term effect. And the short term effect is a calming feeling. That would be a real vicious cycle..

But I'm nowhere near the point of these crazy old dudes. I think you're right, for the most part these people are just losers who choose to smoke weed, not weed smokers who become losers. I guess there are millions of old crazy dudes who don't smoke, I'd just like to meet an old heavy user who isn't crazy and/or stupid.

I get what you mean man...

And really, any state of mind repeated and maintained over a long period of time does affect the way you think. It's not as drastic as those old anti-drug commercials that show "holes" in the brain scans of drug users, but the mind does settle into patterns. This is true with drug use, and without it. This is considered by some to be part of the reason that children can learn things at such an accelerated rate, because their mental processes haven't settled into patterns.

So when you look at someone that smokes daily, the truth is that there will be a certain pattern to the way they think. Being high all the time can be relaxing, but it can also boost certain types of thinking. Depending on the application, that could be good, or bad. So when you have developed a habit of being high all the time, the best way to change your mental state is to stop getting high. Basically, it's almost like forcing your mind to remember to switch the mental patterns up, and get out the rut.

Or just rotate between uppers and downers, and just burn yourself out until you start drinking every day. :y:

I hate alcohol, it's such a messy drug. Who would want that? I admit it had its place from time to time, but getting fucked up drunk just isn't appealing to me at all.

I agree with what you're saying, after not smoking for 3 months I remember initially I was very emotional tbh lol, like all these emotions I had stifled with weed were coming to the surface, it was fucking weird haha. Then I noticed short term memory improvement. That was insane, I always knew where my keys were! I also noticed a real clarity. I was able to organize my thoughts a whole lot better. Insomnia and no appetite only lasted a week or two, same with irritability. I definitely think my brain had to readjust to being sober.

Yeah, fuck alcohol. It's nice enough for what it is, breaking down some of those social boundaries (read: a good excuse to act like an ass) and then not having to deal with those pesky memories of it the next day. Overall though, it's...messy is a good way to describe it. It just feels so...ugh, fuck it, I can't even describe it properly.

It's just gross as hell, and as far as drugs go, it's toxicity to recreational value ratio just doesn't sit well with me. Maybe I'm just spoiled though on all of the alternatives.
