in the end, nobody has any right to tell someone else how to live their lives. gay people getting married does not steal jobs, it doesnt take any food off of your plate, and it doesnt change your life whatsoever.

if your child is gay, he/she is going to be gay regardless whether they can marry or not, so why not allow them to be completely happy by getting married?

I do not believe people are born gay...I think thats total bullshit...people make that choice and/or it's the way your taught when your growing up...

If they want to get married then go ahead, I really don't see a problem with it...

Some cultural differences shouldn't define or differentiate one from a social stand point. Gay marriage happens to fall under the category of 'yes, it's ok', or 'no, it's terrible'. In this case, it's hard to determine what the proper solution would be. How do you make everyone happy, when there are at least two substantially different sides to every argument regarding this topic. Simple, in my opinion of course. I think gay marriages should be allowed in certain more accepting states, such as California and New York, and disapproved by laws in racists states such as Minnesota or Virginia.

Why? Of course this will cause a tension between gay people and non gay people, but there is a current tension that isn't doing anyone any good... Considering most states still disallow same sex marriages. This way, gay people will be much happier in more accepting areas. Why would you want to live in a place that you are not wanted in to begin with?

Sad? Yes, but the fact of the matter is that no matter how you see things, there will always be a difference in certain peoples mental evolution, where some will still be closed on a subject and carry their thoughts and hatred along, embedding it in their children minds, which will simply cycle the cause again.

gay marriage should be allowed, but limited to certain states. That's is my opinion.

Hmmm why not a national unified decision because allowing it just there would be like a trail of tears thing for gay people, it's not like since some states like mine don't have a lot of black people we have racist laws to keep them out, but this is a weird circumstance because why allow gay people but not their marriage ?

I think it should be the states decision instead of a national decision...that would seem comunist

Except sometimes the majority of people can be real dicks towards the minority. For example: Slavery, women rights, child protection, etc.

I mean, whether or not you support gay marriage or not, there are times when the government should be able to step in and support the underdogs.

In other words, not all government interventions are communist :P.

They should be able allowed to live together and get all the same rights. That being said, marriage is between a man and a women and I wont support anything else.
