I'm not denying that, but it's never gonna be deemed racist calling names towards whites, period. It's like a black person saying to us 'oh you white'...but that's never gonna be called racist. They'll always have a power over white people for that because of the whole history.

That's an extremely ignorant statement.
Racism is racism, period. Slavery and prejudiced laws are not the white man's cross to bear.
There's no such thing as an enemy in an absolute sense. Enemies change with the times, along with nations and ideologies.
Besides, at the current statistic, blacks will eventually overcome whites in population. Whites won't always be "in power" like many people think.
I'm sure you just thought of an argument quickly just for the sake of it, but looking back, it doesn't seem right, does it?

the term paki was first used in a racist manner, like n*gger was, that's why it's frowned upon. People forget the meaning of shit and use it stupidly, like other races using N*gger, almost saying it jokingly tryna devalue the meaning and then people counter argue saying we can't use the word either. Look.........I'm from Pakistan and don't really think that the term "paki" is racist. I guess the tone it is used in might lead someone to regard it as racist but even then if a word isn't racist to begin with then how can it be forced to be racist? And it's nothing like N.igger becasue:
1- Paki isn't a word. But if we were to find a meaning for it then: "Pak" means "Pure" or "Clean"....."Not Dirty". So "Paki" would be "Someone who's clean or pure".
2- It's NOT used by people from Pakistan because they refer to themselves as "Pakistanis"......Paki, as far as I know, is only used by non-Pakistanis......and as I said, it's not racist.....rather, it's a good thing.
I guess people who've grown up in foreign lands and don't have as much knowledge about their language might take it as racist. Because anyone who knows Urdu (Pakistan's Official Language) or Arabic would have the sense to know that being pak (or paak, as it is pronounced) isn't a bad thing.

Some people look low at Pakistanis because of where they live and as Alijack said, "3rd world". Also, it is very important for a person to make it 100% sure as possible that he/she is not racist when they are talking to/about a colored person, specially a person that has faced racism countless times. Therefore, by using the correct term, Pakistani it would make it very clear that you are not racist and that you respect the person for who he/she is.

Paki seems like an insult because Pakistanis are brown, therefore they don't know if you're racist or not, so if a racist person calls them "You Paki fuck" for example, then when you call them a "Paki" they would think you too are racist because of the racism they have faced. Racism affects a person a lot, it makes you very paranoid when nick names are thrown at you.

You've never heard a Brit complain about being called a Brit, why? because they have accepted that nickname, because last I checked, Britain did the concurring and ruling around the world, so why would British people be paranoid about racist comments being thrown at them? Also in England I've talked to some British peeps, not from this forum and it seems like in England some people look down at Pakistanis, therefore creating a paranoia activity amongst Pakistanis.

And in case your wondering, no I'm not from Pakistan, I just know about racism cause I face it more than 4-5 times a week, and it fucking sucks.
