but idk how it is in usa but here in holland there are alot of people i know who have cancer or died to cancer and didnt smoke,

It all depends on what the smoker is smoking.

Cigarettes (although a habit for myself) are very bad. They hold over 400 chemicals that can harm the body, especially the lungs (duh), respitory system, and such stuff like that. And it holds nicotine, a very addictive substance. Not to sound like a hypocrite, but don't start, as you will find yourself struggling to quit.

Marijuana, also holds dangerous chemicals that can harm the body. Although, without the use of nicotine, it is NOT addictive. There were studies about addictive chems in marijuana, blah, blah and all that shit. It's bad if you are a chronic marijuana user (once a day for a month, or several times daily, etc.) But if you do it some of the time (maybe once every two weeks, hell even once a week) it's not bad. It's a psychological addiction you get, you're addicted to the feeling the marijuana produces for you. There is no physical dependence for it.
