I was watching the news this morning, when I heard the Obama Health Care plans. He intends on making a socialist healthcare plan. For those of you who don't know what that is, I'll put it in to lamens terms: A Socialist medical plan is where healthcare is prioritized by severity and funding. So if part A has more money, Party B has to wait before they can see a doctor. Now, severity.... sounds nice right? Sickest people get treated first no? Wrong. Now, if your tooth hurts, you can't see a dentist until people before you have, and that can take weeks, months or even years according to Canada's situation. Of course the Rich won't be effected, because you can always pay full price for your treatment...

If that isn't enough to turn you off of Obama and his so called changes, let me go on:

But like others said before me, Obama wants to bring healthcare to everyone, not just whoever can afford it right now. As for his CFR associations. If it is true at all, then let me get this straight: he wrote an essay for a magazine owned by a group who claimed he was a member? And you're freaking out because of this? It was a long time ago buddy and I'd love to see a more concrete evindence than your claim. Lastly, who cares if Obama is 10th cousins once removed from Bush? Does that make him Bush? No, not at all. In fact, George Bush Senior, was a decent president, he wasn't horrible like W. and he was his father! Relations have nothing to do with being president.

Lastly I support Obama because McCain and Palin are only worse. Even Colin Powell recently decided to support Obama. Sure Obama doesn't have much experience...but Palin lacks intelligence. I mean have you seen her interviews? Her response to what specific magazines/newspapers she reads is "All of them" and her experience in foreign relations is being able "to see Russia from Alaska". She is only one bad heartbeat from becoming the next President of the US.

Lastly, I know you don't want people talking about McCain/Palin, but how can you not when it's the alternative to Obama, but I'm ashamed at the attacks the Republicans have been doing towards Obama. Our country needs unity at a time like this, not fear and hate-mongering. Calling Obama a terrorist, and having your own part-members say 'Kill him' at a rally is completely despicable. Also, it makes me shameful that Republicans are attacking him for maybe being Muslim. First he's a Christian and always has been. Who cares what his parents believed in and what they filled out on his school reports? Obama himself has been a Christian and never followed Islam. But more importantly, Colin Powel said it best: Who even cares if Obama is Muslim? It's not against the law for a Muslim to rule the U.S.. Are we afraid just because he may be Muslim he's a terrorist too and drive America into the dumps? That is what I'm ashamed of: ignorant people believing the Republican attack ads saying Obama is a Muslim, he may have terrorist associations, he can't be the president. I'm not Muslim, but I have religious tolerance and can you imagine what impressions the Republican party are giving the Muslim children and their fellow friends in the world? In a time of crisis, we're not supposed to distrust and turn against one another, but to unite and push our way through it. The Republicans have lost my faith this election and that's why I'd go for Obama anytime.

By the way, you know who else was inexperienced had a different religion in term of being president: John F. Kennedy (he is the only Roman Catholic that has been president).

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt, but it would be nice if you provided proof from all the things you researched from. I made did a quick google search and looked up both CFW and Skull and Bones, but couldn't find Obama being a member in either.

As for Skull and Bones, I don't see how Obama can be associated at all? He went to Columbia and then to Harvard (Yale's rival), so how can the Yale secret society get to him at all? I was reading you had to be a Yale junior before the group chose you to join their "secret" society- which sounds like a frat but more emo and secretive by the way (they meet in a place called the "Tomb" ).

Lastly, I don't see how any of his member affiliations make Obama pro-socialist (Bush isn't socialist and he was a member of both right?). The only reason Obama is socialistic is because the Republicans like to scare the masses and make the Democrats seem to be the next communist dictators or something. I mean yes, it's true that the Democrats tend to follow a more socialistic view than Republicans, but that's only because Democrats care about the middle/low class while the Republicans want to make the rich richer and hope all that money will somehow trickle down to us poor people (good theory, but it hasn't been working :P). To the Republicans, Obama is basically taking money from the rich and giving it to the poor (I'm not talking about dirt poor, just the middle-class and not the business oweners). If that's what you think socialism is, then I guess it makes me a socialist and I'm fine with it. Also, it's not like once he's President he has the ultimate power you know? He can't turn this nation into a communist country. He's only got four years and both Congress and Supreme Court are there to keep him in check.

That being said, I'm not the type of person who's scared/hates socialism/communism (I'm a Chinese American, but I am Chinese). Lastly, look at China. It's being predicted as a rising superpower (although I do admit there are a lot of things I find wrong with it- like it's environmental standards), while the U.S. is losing favor in the whole world's eyes. I've actually visited China and I can tell you some benefits of Communism. The gas is pretty stable (it's all distributed by the government), going to the hospital is cheap (and available because I've gotten sick on vacation and have gone to hospitals there), etc., etc. Of course all the censorship and suppression cancel out all the benefits, but I'm just trying to say, the medical situation isn't as big a disaster as you would imagine.
