Kez, this is where I'll rebuttle what you just said. The reason I and some people do this is becuase I don't want to spend MY time and MY effort and MY feed on someone who does not try or even work hard. Like IceKilla, I hate to pick on him but seriously, it seems like he doesn't realize that he's not that good, he's horrible (of course he just started). Yet he's releasing an album in 2 days, you think I'm going to download that album and feed it? NO... if he posts songs and I see signs of improvement then Yes I do feed... That's the reason I only feed a few people, I won't give you feedback, unless I know you'll read my feed and accept it and work with it, but more people here are too red headed and arrogant to accept what the feedback says. I'm going to mention Sticcy here, we collab on a song called I Get It, right after i send it to him, he says "dude I killed it, I easily had the best verse on here" then he goes on and criticizes Chris for having a bad verse. Again, not to pick on Sticcy because I like his music more than most people do on this site, but if you really don't think Chris was trying hard on his verse, or you think your a lot better, then Don't WORK with them, really it just makes you look bad and it makes them look bad.

Of course there's two sides to this problem, we keep hitting on the bad feedback side, but honestly If your not working hard and putting effort into your track, WHY THE FUCK should we the feeders give two shits about putting effort into our feedback. A few days ago, I tried to do what everyone does just to see if I'd get called out on it. On Steve Spag's song I said "great track bro" and that was about it, no one complained, no one said anything, but if i had replied "shit track bro" I'm sure I'd get flamed. People here post tracks to get a good response, they aren't looking for real feedback, so what I do is I just don't reply to them, the people who want real feedback from me, I'll give it to them. Which is why I asked sticcy, mcmaybe, and james r a few days ago to feed my 3 new beats and give their full honest opinion and if they weren't going to do that, then don't even fucking bother. I don't want it.

i agree with alot of what was said on that. (the part about me aside  ) i mean, there are alot of people who post in the audio stage, and u can't feed everyone. and i agree that feedback should be criticisms and tips for improvement, so that the person's next possible track would have improved on those areas. :y:

Killa wrote:I agree fully with your post bro apart from one thing. If you like a track to a point where you can see very little wrong not much feed is really required (Although to be fair this being a internet forum theres always going to be some kind of critisism in the tracks that could be given). However saying "that sucked" etc is a diffrent story because it gives said person nothing to build on. However as stated its rare people even listen to feedback and normally resort to one liners where bad feed is concerned to excuse it. So i see why it bothers you. Its why i rarely feed unless in the same way i know there listen to it.

of course there's some tracks that your response to would be like "wow" I've heard a few tracks on this site that had that "Livin' To Die" By Vettori, and "Thank God I'm Alive" by Nef were ones that I felt were just amazing, BUT rarely do we get those tracks.

Also, If people have posts that say "that sucked" It's time to just delete them, for fucks sake, Gimme mod power in Audio Stage and I promise there won't be any type of comments like that anymore.

well hell guys am I the only one who would like to know if my rap is far beyond fixing? Tell me If i blow cause I'll definitely tell you. I don't like critiquing people better than me because I mean they know what they're doing and besides odds are they always have someone who feeds it perfectly before I even see it

that's not true, just cause someone is better than you, doesn't mean you don't know better than them in some cases. Even my soccer coach, a few days ago she said, we're doing it this way, I confronted her and said, if your trying to do this, I think this route would work better...

i feed a lot on different ppl's stuff, i try my best to help out even when it's harsh, i just want to see ppl improve and help them build their character. i enjoy getting feed but usually i'm looking for hits to be honest. but you guys always keep me on my toes to not fall off which is why i love this site. i read most stuff on creative writing and when u don't see my name it usually means there's nothing to be said which wasn't stated already. i choose no sides with ppl, but i do read my fave authors' stuff first most of the time.
oh yeah... and thanks for nothing too

I feed to whoever I can, whenever I can. Anyone who feeds my shit is top priority though, because I respect the feedback you give me. If you want me to check your stuff out, ask.
:)

Oh, and if you're going on me for the "people don't really want feedback" line, I think you're wrong. I just take what I get, ya know?

everything you said ,, i agree with it 100% .. ,, because when i start writing ,i was getting bad feeds , from mostly everyone ,, particularity from James , shadymademe , neversnooze ,nd others,, these were giving me real feedback ,, and to be honest with you here ,, these bad feedback what's get's me to be better ,, cuz every time i write i was covering up my previous mistakes and i kept going like that ,, till i become better , but if i was getting always props , i wont get a 1% better ,, and that's what i'm doing , i'm always giving people my real feed, and i dont care if they feel bad or not ,, cuz if they want to post something and want's to gets better ,, they have to handle the critice ,, it doesn't matter how harsh it is .. so i'm asking all of TR members to start giving real feedback ,, because compliments wont help US here get any better ,,

So we're not meant to give anyone compliments? Just tell them their shit sucks and state a few reasons why?

Doesn't make sense to me...

i'm not saying to tell them their shit is sucks .. cuz that will fall their spirit down ,, so what i meant is that when their writing pieces or audio songs ,, needs to improve or somethin or it has some errors etc... , just tell them that but in a nice way ,, not just like (you suck just quit , why you still writing dump ass) etc,,, these staff.... you could still critice but in a nice way .. and that's what they want ,, believe me ,, if your compliment isn't true then keep it to yourself .. if they want to improve they dont need fake compliments ,, they need real feed,, and if he/she can't handle that then why bothering themselves writing , or just say at the bottom of the page ,, plz if you have compliments say it if u dont ,, then i don't need your feed,, and that would make it easy on us ,, i hope i did make sense right know

I agree with you completely, but i think you missed the point a bit. I wasn't referring to people who tend to feed. The point was that i was referring to people who never normally even visit these sections going in there and leaving feed just for their friends, bumping peoples' music down in favour of complimenting their friends.

Should have made that more clear.

I agree about Ice Killa, he exhumes an air of silent smugness. Like, he claims he knows he aint very good yet, but in reality he obviously thinks he's the shit when he comes into threads about TR's best and insists he be included. Sticcy, well that's just how Sticcy is. Can't be much done about that.

@z_em: People don't need to be fucking babysat. Part of the reason i miss Kosovic is because he told it how it was. When i came here, Maybe just flat out gave me his honest opinion, telling me to quit. I didn't like it, but it at least motivated me to improve. If you baby people, they become complacent and then when they go to an impartial source (i.e. anywhere else but here) and get laughed at, they look like a tit. If people can't handle some harsh criticism, rap music is the last thing they should be creating.

Ive heard quite a few artists on this site. Seen so many "crews" and collective beefing and posted my ass off in countless threads but i cant get myself to even feed some peeps no more, because of so much dickriding. I mean people feed people in the audio section these days, just to get a synonymous reply back for their track... which is pathetic. It just discourages. I heard how most people started on here, on a level so horrible that peeps used to feed just to have the feeling they helped someone get better.

Now its like the audio section is a bunch of lil gangs fighting for popularity or something. And u know, that attitude that "ohh u didnt feed me, then im never feeding coz u hadnt boosted my ego", it discourages to feed. Feeding is ur choice and the way u feed is too. ITs better to be honest and feed less but only watu really want to feed then loads and without actually enjoying tacks or having shit to say.

LMFAO@ Brittney, bitch looking worse than a chupacabra mixed with a broken down coyote. You're disgusting ugly, so ugly in fact, my brain simultaneously exploded while processing how bitterly grotesque you look. I would much rather stick ice picks into the walls of my cranium, then stick my dick into your quagmire of a clitoris. You're what would happen if a sperm whale mated with a Godzilla fish..
