Help me, I'm at a crossroad

Well you guys, I'm at a crossroad in my life...I really don't know what I want to do...

Ive been talking with some recruiters for the military, and im really considering joining, but Im not sure its the right decision...

I also want to keep working on my music, in hopes it can get me some where...But I don't wanna piss my life away on something that might not happen...

And I really don't wanna go to college...

What should I do guys?

I mean I know I'll never stop doing music and putting it out...It's just I don't know what I should put my full attention on...

What do you guys think is the right choice?

If I do stick with music, I'm going to go to school and get a degree in some sort of music shit...

well in my opinion you should stick to school, you can never mistake by pickin school as your choice. I was in same position once and I picked somethin else instead of school,but now im back in. but its your call im just trying to help

Then stop the complaining and dont go. If you want highest chances of getting into rap Id say go to college, cause you can get a job and career to fall back on until you blow up.

Aight, sooo.. I'd stick to the college. I mean, you can always try and if you really don't like it.. you can just quit and try something else. But as you said, you could get some degree in some sort of music. And you'd always have some sort of degree, it's always a plus.

I know you said you don't wanna go and you're sick of it.. But ehh.. that's my opinion. Consider your options again and all the possibilities: what would you do after the military? or what would you do after the college? Or, if you join the military, will you have time for your music?..

after high school take like a year off and continue practicing making music. take a break and then start college. with military you have to go through like 5-6 months of training and if a war breaks out suddenly then you will be sent into action. take like 2 or 3 classes at college and schedule it for like 2 days a week.

but its your call....

college is not nearly as "unfun" as high school. for one, you're taking classes u want (after 1st year ) and it's better to have a degree. so u can have a hell of alot more job oppurtunities. so u can focus on music, but if that doesn't work out. u'll have a lot of experience in another field, or be able to hold down another career until it works out.
that's what i'm doing when i go to college. i'm going to hold down another career entirely, but still focus on my music. lol.

Well I stopped by the Army office today and filled out some paper work so they can be in contact with me...

Really the only reason thats an option is because it's somthing that I have always wanted to do until music came in my life...and plus i wanna see the world and hell, kill a couple terrorist...

idk yall imma consider my options...I really won't be able to pay for school...cuz I'm not fuckin rich like MOST of you guys on here...

You hate college don't go, BELIEVE ME I hated that shit and went, than I skipped classes, didn't even give a fuck about it really, and just ended up exactly where I was before except I wasted 2 years........

If your serious about your music, keep doing it, get a job, and try to build yourself and your music from there. Start an indie label perhaps, perhaps start one with a friend of yours who does the same thing and is dedicated enough as you are. You don't need education, if you don't want it. Doing a music course is a good choice to though, BUT finding a decent job, and building yourself from there while still focusing on music is better though. Maybe an engineer job would do you good, but that's if you take interest in mixing, and I don't think you do lol.

Going to the army, I don't know about that, a lot of people didn't thank themselves for joining up with the army. Even if you do join, I'd say join the navy maybe, not sure about the pay lol. I'm in the same situation with my life EXCEPT I will never go to the army, fuck fighting a "nations" battle when I need to fight my own battle aka make my dream happen. I might do a course, but fuck that I wanna get a job, move out, and just start from music to me its FUCK everything else cause music is the only thing I'm good at, I sucked at school so I hate education lol.
