Lil Wayne is actually dope

Was this thread supposed to read "Lil Wayne is on dope". Because that's more believable and makes more sense than him actually being dope.

To be fair, I haven't given him a real real chance.

I did listen to Tha Carter III before though and thought it was awful.

And everything I've heard him on, he just is a bad rapper to me.

Oh actually, he did two songs I liked lately. I liked "6 Foot, 7 Foot" and I also liked "John".

Also, the concept of "Drop the World" / chorus, is nice.

I only really gave some of his early work a listen recently..
I gotta say though, when he was a kid, he was actualy a lot worse then he is now, but some tracks he did as a kid were fucking sick as well.

I dunno how this happened but mabye he had some coaching during that time as a teen/early 20s..
I can't remember which tracks because I really only listened to each album on my Ipod without really looking because I just can't really get into him to the point of caring.

But when you find a good track you get a beam of hope.
