Don't Blame The Artist

Postby Slim Fiasco » Feb 18th, '12, 08:52

Blame the audience that supports him/her. I really hate it when people rent on certain musicians for ruining this or that, or for them not deserving the status they have when it's really not their fault. Sure they have something to do with it, like being sell outs and stuff, and that's bad, but if there was no one to back them up and like their gibberish then they wouldn't have succeeded in their attempt.

To exemplify this, let's take a look at Justin Bieber. Sure he sucks, but at the end of the day, what he did is present his shitty music to the world and there were enough people with bad taste to like it, and therefor blow him up like that. If more people had more sense, this wouldn't have been the case so instead of wishing dead on the kid, you might as well question his fans first. It's the same thing with your girlfriend cheating on you. Why go and fight the guy she did it with, when she is the one who chose to cheat on you and did that to you? On that note, I'll end this with a quote from one of my favorite movies: "Who's the more foolish, the fool or the fool that follows him"?

Smart man, smart man :b:

I hate how people just spend their whole day discussing music they don't like. I don't even think about bad music, whats the point. Negatively isn't much fun, I would rather spread the word about great music

You are right. :y: But the bad taste has existed since the beginning of time. Now is Justin Bieber, there was a time when it was Spice Girls, or a boys band....Often do not last long in time or end badly. But a new "product" will come out. There will always be artists like these.

Haha, it's all good man, that was definitely appreciative enough :D, and I'm glad we agree.

I also cosign your statement. I mean, there are Hip-Hop fans who are pure awesomeness but the majority definitely don't stick together (so to say).
