ya companies here dont want people smoked out 24/7 lol

and no u have no means to sue them, unfortunately there is nothing you can do. they probably have an agreement with whomever your working for, that they can take as much time as they need in case they are backed up or behind schedule.
i would just start looking for another job bro.

even if somehow you could sue them, the lawyer expenses would put you in more debt, because you surely wouldnt win the case.

Not sure how that's racist...

But a lot of people came in high, so they put the rule in. Its not a big deal, just don't smoke before u take a drug test, then blaze it up after. If u can't do that, you don't deserve a job anyway lol

um, it does after a few days. with lots of water drank, and exercise sweating it out. thats how my friends pass hahahh

and i think your last statement proves how drugged out our country is. they rather give up a job, than pot.

pot isnt bad, but it is still illegal. if u want a job, give it up for a few. i promise. it wont hurt anyone LOL

THC can take 30 days for most people, but even if not, people who smoke regularly are looking at at least a few weeks for a urine test to clear. If you plan on drinking lots of water to "clear" it out of your system, you're actually diluting your urine, and they can fail you for that. The THC metabolites they test for are stored in fat cells, and that's why it takes longer for some than others to clear them from their system.

What bigray is saying is that it makes no sense to deny someone a job for something they do off-work, especially when the THC metabolites stay in your system for so long. It has nothing to do with workplace impairment when you're not impaired at the workplace. Most places also have an agreement that you sign when you get hired that enables them to have you take a blood test if they have reasonable suspicion to believe you're under the influence, which actually would tell them if you were high on the job.

You can even lose your job/be denied employment in a medical marijuana state due to a failed drug test. While they have no problem with the prescription Oxycodone or Adderall pumping through your veins while you're on the job, they will take issue with your after-work, doctor recommended, marijuana use in a state that says you can legally do so. This is another fine example of corporate idiocy when it comes to drug use.

@Miller, as everyone else has said, there's not much you can do legally. You might attempt to contact them directly, but other than that, you're kind of shit out of luck.
