i've done it back in my early 20's. They give you free gatorade and make you chill while the plasma separates. they draw blood from you, and that sample goes through this machine that makes it jello. it takes a while to extract the plasma though. thats the wait. but your not waiting while a needle is inside you lol

as for pain, it just like any other needle procedure. i used to go to biolife here in texas and they paid about 50 bucks a session but then again im talking back in 2005 lol

yeah, they take out a small vile of blood and they extract the plasma from the sample. it goes through this machine that looks like a gas station hot dog roller. you get free hydrating drinks like Gatorade to jump start your sodium in your blood. Since the whole process takes from 45 to an hour they ask you make an appointment most of the time.

I would do this every single week if they paid me. $85 an hour is a hell of a rate and you're saving lives.
In Australia they don't pay for blood donations, nor am I allowed because I have been to the UK during the whole mad cow bullshit.
